INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 oz cream cheese
1 cup almond flour
1 egg
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
TOPPINGS
1/4 cup prepared pesto
1 cup mozzarella cheese
8 slices pepperoni
4-5 basil leaves
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 450° F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Combine the mozzarella and cream cheese in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 45-50 seconds until melted. Add in the egg, almond flour, baking powder, and Italian seasoning. Mix well until smooth.
Place the dough onto the baking sheet and use your hands to press into a large circle about ¼” thick. Transfer to the oven and bake for 10 minutes.
Remove from the oven and top with toppings. Transfer back to the oven and bake for another 8-10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly.
